Trust is operational

A financial promise is kept through thousands of everyday decisions.

Customers experience whether access is clear, information is accurate, decisions are timely, money and data are protected, services remain available, and problems are resolved fairly.

We help institutions connect these customer expectations with operating processes, employee judgment, risk ownership, evidence, controls, and commercial priorities.

Completed assessment foundation

EU payments change-readiness pilot

Covers scope and transition assumptions, authorisation, safeguarding, outsourcing, customer information, fraud handling, security and authentication.

Based on selected excerpts from the PSD3 and PSR provisional agreements dated 5 May 2026. Each assessment checks the final adopted texts and relevant dates before drawing conclusions about applicable requirements.

EU AML/CFT source-foundation pilot

Covers supervisory scope, amendment tracking, governance, due diligence, monitoring, suspicion reporting, record handling and national implementation.

Brings together selected AMLA, AML Regulation and AMLD6 provisions, with a separate AMLA amendment source. National measures, affected original provisions and entity-specific dates are assessed for each engagement.

What sits behind each pack

Each pack fixes the source and control versions used for the assessment. Separate preparation and approval, recorded source-reuse reviews, and retrieval checks help make the basis of the work traceable. Each control sets out assessment questions, expected evidence and scope limits.

The packs contain selected excerpts and Octa assessment methods. They support readiness work and do not constitute certification or a complete consolidated statement of the law. Retrieval checks cover selected questions; reviewers check supporting passages for relevance and completeness.

Where value appears

Six outcomes that strengthen service and confidence.

Useful change should improve a visible customer, operating, financial, or risk condition while remaining accountable.

01

Make access clearer

Reduce unnecessary customer effort across discovery, onboarding, service, transactions, claims, applications, and support.

02

Decide faster with control

Bring relevant information, policy, judgment, and escalation together so decisions are timely, consistent, and reviewable.

03

Reduce operational friction

Address repeated entry, reconciliations, fragmented handoffs, manual reviews, exceptions, and work that obscures customer value.

04

Strengthen risk awareness

Improve how emerging exposure, unusual activity, control weakness, and changing conditions are identified and addressed.

05

Protect service continuity

Keep important financial services dependable through demand peaks, operational disruption, supplier failure, and hostile activity.

06

Grow responsibly

Develop products, partnerships, markets, and customer relationships within clear risk appetite, capacity, and accountability.

A controlled path to value

Build confidence into the change itself.

Customer value, operational reality, risk, regulatory duties, evidence, and human accountability are considered from the first question—not added at the end.

  1. 01

Define the business and customer condition

Establish who is affected, what is happening, why it matters, and how the current outcome is measured.

  2. 02

    Map obligations and exposure

Identify decision rights, customer duties, applicable requirements, risk appetite, sensitive information, dependencies, and failure impact.

  3. 03

    Follow the real work

Observe people, information, approvals, calculations, evidence, exceptions, handoffs, and customer communication as they operate today.

  4. 04

    Choose a controlled starting point

Prioritize a valuable use case with clear ownership, bounded risk, reliable evidence, and a realistic adoption path.

  5. 05

    Test decisions—not demonstrations

Use representative cases, adverse scenarios, customer impacts, human review, audit evidence, and operational recovery before expansion.

  6. 06

    Measure, govern, and improve

Compare outcomes with the baseline, monitor unintended effects, maintain accountability, and adjust as customers and conditions change.

Responsible decision support

Assistance can accelerate work. Responsibility stays with people.

Human accountability

A named person or function remains responsible for material decisions, exceptions, customer outcomes, and corrective action.

Explainable evidence

Important decisions should be supported by evidence that can be understood, challenged, recorded, and reviewed.

Proportionate information use

Customer and business information should have a defined purpose, appropriate permission, protection, retention, and access.

Controls within the process

Accuracy checks, approvals, limits, monitoring, escalation, and recovery should be designed into everyday work.

Fair customer outcomes

Changes should be examined for access barriers, inconsistent treatment, harmful assumptions, and avoidable customer disadvantage.

Legal, regulatory, conduct, privacy, recordkeeping, and supervisory requirements vary by activity and jurisdiction. Appropriate specialist advice and accountable internal review remain necessary.

Measure value and assurance

A faster result is useful only when it remains a sound result.

We establish a baseline that connects customer experience, productivity, financial contribution, control effectiveness, resilience, and risk-adjusted value.

  1. 01Customer onboarding and service time
  2. 02Decision turnaround and exception rate
  3. 03Manual effort, errors, and rework
  4. 04Fraud loss and false-positive rate
  5. 05Control effectiveness and remediation time
  6. 06Availability and recovery performance
  7. 07Cost to serve and operating capacity
  8. 08Customer satisfaction and retention
  9. 09Revenue, margin, and risk-adjusted value
  10. 10Employee adoption and decision confidence

Areas of support

Connect the priority to focused, accountable action.

Explore support across strategy, risk, regulation, operations, customer experience, products, performance, people, transactions, and markets.

Start with one important condition

Where are customer value, operating effort, and control no longer in balance?

Bring us one customer journey that takes too long, one decision that lacks reliable evidence, one control that creates excessive work, or one service that must become more resilient.

We will help clarify the condition, identify the underlying constraint, and determine a practical path to measurable and accountable improvement.
